Why I Set Up A Patreon

I recently set up a Patreon, got the flu and I've spent the last few weeks catching up. No advertising of said Patreon. So here I am now and OMG, the timing sucks, I know it does. I'm on the heels of a genre scandal including money and fraud, but I'm going to do this anyway because I am Not. That. Person.

Why did I set one up? Because the job/royalties don't stretch far enough to allow me to create as much content as I want to. Frankly, all my money goes to keeping the roof over our heads.

Enough of that. I have plans. Big plans, and anyone that would be willing to help gets to be part of the journey. Any money from Patrons gets invested in the writing including more books, audiobooks and translations, not into my personal life. I am accountable to you.

I was planning to make a long post about this but really that's it. I'm over here if you would like to know more.

EDIT:

I'd like to say thank you to my patrons. I'm now halfway to my first goal. You're amazing.
