Life, writing, sale, and money recap

Thanks to Ashavan Doyon

I have to say a huge thank you to Ashavan Doyon for this graphic. He is an amazing cheerleader for The Sky is DeadThere is a 30%  sale off Dreamspinner books for World Book Day. If you haven't read The Sky is Dead why not try it now?

The past couple of weeks have been different in the Brown household. My son is back at university, my daughter is planning world domination at her store and I rarely see her, and my boss asked me if I'd like more responsibility in my day job. He's given me access to his email. Is he mad?? Has he seen me with an archive finger? All is good. He's a happy man as I've decimated his inbox and set up a to-do list. In practical terms, I am relieved as my current role had been whittled away as they refined their system. This left me with very little to do and worrying I would soon be out of a job. It's like being a newbie again as I start again, but the best thing is - I don't have to step outside the front door!! Woot!

Money is an issue at the moment. I'm now at the Titanic stage of sinking, Even with the reassurance of this job I'm going to have to increase my income. I'm looking at all options, including evening work. But I'm an epileptic, and too much stress/work leads to a seizure. I've been here too many times before. I will go carefully as I work out my options.

I've writing up a storm but under a new pennames in varying genres. I'll tell you more about that when things reach a certain point. Sorry to be all Vera-vague on you but I'm just giving myself a new challenge.

I'll have a new chapter of Cranky & Dashing on my Patreon coming out in the next couple of days. I'm loving this story. Cranky and Dashing make me want to write their story.

I'll also have a newsletter out soon with a new freebie. You can sign up here for the (almost) monthly emails.

Have a great weekend, my lovelies.
